God is Working for Good!

Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
We all face difficulties! Sometimes we have a bad day while other times our trials stay for a season. There are things that bother us that we can put into perspective while there are other things that no amount of explanation changes how we feel. Paul knew this when he wrote to the Romans. They faced persecution that was completely unfair and unjust. Paul’s words of encouragement were written to give hope. No matter what anyone faces, God uses even the worst situations to bring about good. It may take time for us to see God working, but with faith we know He is!
Regina and I have had our own share of difficult days and seasons. In every situation, God has been true to His word and taken what was hard for us and brought something we never expected. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. When facing a difficulty I encourage you to give it to God, trust His word, and remember that no matter what, God is working for good!
